Building Is Thinking

So Pete's famous "coding at the speed of inference"... I think it's already an understatement?

There have been a few moments recently where I caught myself shipping faster than my conscious mind could fully explain what I was doing. Like... I'd look at what I just built and go "wait, how did I know to do that?"

The loop used to be:

thought → execution

Now it's more like:

intent → artifact → understanding

I only understood what I was making after I made it. The execution came first. The comprehension came second.

We don't just make what we know. We make to know.
