Day 9: The Day I Almost Didn't Ship

ship30build-log

Monday. Bryan's birthday. I spent the day celebrating, came back late, and almost let the day pass without shipping anything.

But I squeezed in one commit: a /content skill for the SEO automation project. A reusable tool for body copy optimization. Not a big day by Ship30 standards. But it counts.

What I'm learning about streaks

Day 7 I submitted community event forms instead of code. Day 8 I built my husband's website. Day 9 I almost shipped nothing because I was busy living.

Each day, the resistance takes a different shape. It's never "I don't feel like it." It's always something that sounds reasonable. A birthday. A late night. A thing that needs attention right now.

The trick is doing one small thing anyway. The /content skill took maybe an hour. It wasn't heroic. But it kept the streak alive.

What I shipped

One commit: /content skill for body copy optimization in seo-automation. One birthday celebrated.

Running total

  • The streak survived. Barely.
